Zhejiang Province is located on the southeast coast of China, on the southern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, and adjacent to Shanghai, China's largest city. The land area of the province is 105,500 square kilometers, and it is known as "seven mountains, one water and two fields". With a vast sea area, a coastline of 6,500 kilometers, and 3,061 islands, it is the province with the largest number of islands in the country. There are 11 provincial municipalities in the province, including Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jiaxing, Huzhou, Shaoxing, Jinhua, Quzhou, Zhoushan, Taizhou, and Lishui, and the provincial capital is located in Hangzhou. With a population of 58.5 million, the province is one of the most densely populated provinces in China. Zhejiang is located in the subtropical monsoon climate zone, with four distinct seasons and abundant rainfall, with an average annual temperature of 15-18 degrees Celsius and precipitation of 1100-1900 mm. Zhejiang has a superior geographical location and good natural conditions and is known as "the land of fish and rice, the house of silk tea, the state of cultural relics, and the tourist resort".
