Local Climate

In my country, there are all four seasons. Currently, it's December (gruodis in Lithuanian), the first month of winter. The average temperature of the coldest month (January) is below -3 °C. Therefore, it snows a lot. Since there is so little sun in wintertime, we don't get much sun as we stay all day at school from 9 am to 4 pm, and the sun rises at 8 am and sets at 4 pm. In summer, however, the sun can be seen on the horizon for 16 hours. The average temperature in summer is 25°C. My go-to summer activity is swimming and wandering in forests as they provide a nice shade from the sun and beautiful nature.
