Global Teaching Methods
In Russia, schooling is an important part of every child’s life. For many
years, various methods and approaches to teaching have been used in Russia,
which aim to ensure quality education and the development of pupils. So
what are the methods of teaching in Russian schools?
First, we have the traditional lecture. Lectures are given by teachers who
impart information about the specific topic of the lesson, and students
take notes in notebooks, which they will have to learn later.
There is also a method of teaching through dialogue between the teacher
and the students. This method involves active interaction between the
teacher and the pupils, as well as between the pupils themselves. During
the dialogue, students share their thoughts and ideas, as well as their
views and arguments. This is very good for the development of
information analysis. Some teachers prepare students for university and
ask them to do projects on specific subjects. We independently find
information, analyze it and process it. So, with the help of projects, we
develop independently, without a clear direction from the teacher.
Projects also improve our ability to work as a team. And, of course, there
is another method, which is to memorize paragraphs on a subject and
then retell them. And we also very often memorize poems and then recite
them with expression to our teachers. In the same way, we learn theory,
for example, the rules of the Russian language. But sometimes the
theory is written in such an absurd way, so sometimes even native
speakers of the Russian language do not understand it.
I have spoken about the main school methods of learning in Russia.
Some of them are not suitable for all students, but in principle, they can
teach everyone normally
