My City, My Voice
I’ve been walking in the same way as I did before, missing the cracks in the pavement around my city, Nanchang. As I walk, I find myself tutting my heels and strutting my feet. I gaze at the night sky in Nanchang with a warm heart. This city has a vibrant history, and its culture is surging.
As I walk, I see an imposing building emerge in my sight—the memorial of the Nanchang Uprising. Hidden behind this historic building is the culture of the Red Revolution. As night falls, the bright lights around me catch my attention. The history of the Nanchang Uprising, dating back to the 19th century, unfolds before our eyes, combining history and technology. This not only reveals the story behind Nanchang but also leads us to appreciate the modern development of China. In this dreamlike light and shadow, lies my passionate heart.
Walking around the Gan River, the antique Nanchang is presented before my eyes—the Tengwang Pavilion. Exquisite sculptures are carved on the wooden pavilions, seemingly telling us about the changing history of Nanchang.
As I come to my senses and continue walking forward, I realize that Nanchang is full of historical traces, just like the stone road beneath my feet. Yet it also has a unique cultural charm as a result. In my memory, Nanchang will always be lovely and glorious. My city, your shadow will always be reflected in my heart, flowing quietly...
