Kiribath is a traditional Sri Lankan dish that is prepared during special occasions, such as Sinhala and Tamil New Year, birthdays, and wedding days. To prepare it, rice is boiled and cooked with coconut milk and a pinch of salt until the mixture becomes sticky. Then it is left to set and can be eaten either in slices or as a whole. Kiribath is typically served with "Luu miris," a traditional chili sauce made with onion, chili, salt, and lemon. This dish is very easy to cook and delicious.(Picture see left)
