Nine months ago, we embarked on a journey around the world as fantastic and unlikely as that taken by Phileas Fogg in acclaimed literary history. It is fitting and proper that we should compare ourselves to that eccentric but strong-willed gentleman, for like him, we have overcome great difficulty to achieve the impossible. We too ended up falling in love, not with a beautiful Indian girl as Fogg did, but with something that will stay with us for the rest of our lives - that wonderful proposition that with sincere and friendly exchange, we have a chance at making friends, learning something new, or perhaps even world peace.

Today, as you read these words for the last time in Joint Weekly Newsletter, don't be sad or regretful. We've had a good run, and now it's time to let go. Parting is a normal part of life. As we go down the long tunnel of time, our paths converge, diverge, dizzyingly rapidity, prey to the whims and excesses of fate and destiny. Through good times and bad, we treasure the people we love, even as we know that nothing is forever. We have had the pleasure of sharing one dream, one breathtaking venture for nine months. That is plenty.

We are travelers on a pilgrimage to somewhere and nowhere, searching for that holy place we know not where. From the cradle, we have been given the chance to try, to experiment, to leave our mark on this world. Yet the buffeting winds of reality have often blown us awry, leading us to despair in a world to which we feel we do not belong. Today, I say to you, to everyone who has accompanied us on this meandering path from one end of the world to the other: you do belong, you will leave your mark. If these many months have taught me anything, it is that the world is as diverse as it is wide. No matter who you are, somewhere out there is your special place, somewhere you belong. All we have to do is find it. Be it on the beaches of the Mediterranean or the icy shores of the North Atlantic, the office desk or the factory floor, as a newspaper editor or a lawyer, we will find our place and give our unique contribution to the world. That is plenty.

I'm just a normal teenager from a random city in China that hardly anyone knows about. But today, I am the proud editor of an international newsletter that has run for 13 issues. Most of us will remain the average Joe we were born as, but today we have accomplished something truly extraordinary. My friends, my companions, that is plenty.
