Artificial Intelligence

What do you think about AI? People seem to be either

excited or worried about it. Personally, I can understand

these two ideas, but I tend to worry about how it should

affect employment.

The latest amazing system, named Sora, from OpenAI, is a

system that can generate video according to instructions.

Some people can’t help but worry whether AI will replace

the acting industry in the future. In fact, this kind of concern

isn't new.

Since the 1960s, people have started to explore the road of

AI customer service. You know, there are 1 million people

working in customer service in the Philippines alone! We

can predict that if AI completely replaces customer service,

how many people will lose their livelihoods?

How will the people whose jobs are taken away by AI make

a living? It’s a big issue. And how to create more jobs suited

to the people who haven't received high education to fill the

gap in the work that AI replaces. This is a problem that

human beings must consider and solve urgently while trying

to develop AI high technology.
